Tech Center

The Kelly-Mulhern Performance Tech Center is your source for how-tos and general maintanence information for cars and vans equipped with the 3.0L V6 Mistusbishi 6g72 engine.  Whether you have a Dodge Shadow, Dodge Dynasty, Chrysler Lebaron, Dodge Daytona, Dodge Spirit, Plymouth Sundance, Dodge Caravan, Plymouth Voyager, or any other related vehicle; something on this page applies to you.  And for those with the 2.2L, 2.5L, 3.3L, and 3.8L variants of these vehicles, much of the information listed here may still apply.

The Tech Center is provided as is and will continue to grow as time goes on. For each of our how-tos, we will provide a difficulty rating and an estimated time requirement. We will also provide notes on the tools required for the job, pictures of jobs in progress, and tips for how to do things as quickly as possible.

Difficulty Rating

Easy (Oil Change)    Difficult (Engine Swap)

Often times you will find that a job is actually more complex or time consuming than it is difficult. Generally a job is only truly difficult because you aren't strong enough to turn a bolt, you can't reach something, you don't have the right tools, or you lack a 3rd hand. That said, this is more of a complexity rating.

Time Requirement

Gauging the time required for someone else to do a particular job is difficult. For the beginner, some jobs will take longer. With experience, many jobs can go much much faster. With that in mind we will try to provide a reasonable expectation for the effort involved.

Tools Required

There are always multiple ways of doing things. We'll recommend the tools we used. In many cases, others could be substituted for what we list.
